Marna Saunders, PhD
Educational Psychologist
With over 15 years of experience as a practicing educational psychologist, I specialize in helping children and adolescents navigate emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Prior to my current practice, I gained extensive experience working in therapeutic and educational institutions, which deepened my understanding of the unique needs of children in various environments.
My interests include trauma, neurodivergence, relationship difficulties, grief, anxiety, stress, depression and life transitions, I strive to create a confidential, understanding and safe environment for all clients and. At times I also work alongside my therapy dogs, Alex and Luna, whose calming presence helps create a supportive atmosphere.

I hold a doctorate in psychology and offer a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to meet individual needs. In addition to working with children, I collaborate closely with parents, families, and groups, providing family therapy and couples counselling to support holistic healing. My therapeutic methods include talk psychotherapy, creative therapies, creating mindfulness/self-awareness which is tailored to each individual’s needs. I offer both face-to-face and online sessions, ensuring flexibility for all clients.
I also offer a range of global psychoeducational assessments to gain better understanding of a client’s holistic functioning to be able to guide further interventions or recommendations, including concession support for academic assessments.
I am also available for educational talks and workshops, particularly on understanding children’s emotional, behavioral, and mental wellbeing. These talks offer practical insights and strategies for supporting children’s mental health and development, helping parents, educators, and professionals better connect with and support young people.
